Thought I’d take a brief moment to share a little about what drives me… as shown elsewhere on this site my motto is “tax and accounting with a servant’s heart.” Living out that statement really is my goal. Which begs the question, what does a “servant’s heart” look like? Words that come to my mind include competence, humility and the ability to put the needs of others above one’s own. I included “competence” because any worker has to be able to do the job well. To me, humility reflects the ability to do the job well while demonstrating kindness, compassion and warmth to all involved. It’s my goal when dealing with clients and friends that together, we work through challenging situations in a calm, peaceful way. So that’s actually why I’m sharing the picture, which is a view from outside my home office. It’s just trees at sunset, right? Well, right… but it also conveys a certain sense of peace and calm that I also want to share as we travel through tax world together. Tax can generate bucketloads of stress - and it's my goal to minimize stress for my clients and friends. Would love to hear from you if you have questions or would like to discuss becoming a client. Have a great week!
